Wired Rave Awards

We had a good time last night at the Wired Rave Awards--the best part was getting to see The Polyphonic Spree, an odd, and oddly compelling band that's Heaven's Gate meets Pop-Gospel.
Always on the lookout for the travel angle, we were sad to hear that Burt Rutan, inventor of SpaceShipOne and the winner of the Wired Rave Award for industrial design, wasn't at the event. Here's his profile in Wired, with links to the other winners on that page.
By the way, The Polyphonic Spree is playing Bimbo's 365 Club in S.F., this Thursday, the same night as our Travelers Happy Hour. Do I sense an after-party concert?
